Lotus Lantern festivals returned after two years, as previous ones had been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is a festival that held annually every year to celebrate Buddha's birthday with thousands Buddhist walked on the road almost three kilometers holding lanterns, pushing large scale lanterns and performing as the crowd bystanders enjoyed clapping and cheer them on. The parade started at 7 p.m. on April 30 on the usual route in central Seoul from the Heunginjimun gate to Jonggak.
Our JPNK team and its members were happy to attend this auspicious festival with their children.
